Hi. We're new here.
I'm a Fellow Traveler
Who am I? I'm a twenty-something who just hasn't quite grown up yet. In real life, I am a teacher in Eugene, Oregon. Despite being a native and current resident of Oregon, I am one of the most well-informed Disneyland fans outside of Anaheim. Each of my days are filled with news from the most reliable sources on the internet. I spend most of my free time on youtube, twitter, instagram, Disneyland websites, Anaheim news sites, etc. to get honest and immediate updates on the parks. I also know what it's like to have to plan a once-in-a-lifetime kind of trip, and spend days traveling to make it happen. I understand the need to save money for such trips. Distance has not kept me away, however; I have been fortunate to visit Disneyland 6 times in my lifetime, and I'm not done yet!
The Best Resources
~Check this out!~
(www.freshbakeddisney.com , http://touringplans.com/disneyland-resort)
I will be bringing you tips and tricks that have been well-researched because it's just what I like to do. So every blog post will include personal opinions and experiences, differing views, as well as facts and links for your own reference. You will be provided with the best resources for Disney knowledge on the net. Blogs, websites, podcasts, youtube channels, and books - I've got you covered. I've been around the block a bit, and can crawl through the useless blogs for you. Some tips are good, while others are not - don't worry, I'll do all the work. You sit back and relax.
Learn Something New
~Did you know?~
Everyone wants their visit to be special, tailored to their needs. I have the scoop on fun tidbits for first-time and returning visitors. I will reveal lesser-known facts that can make any trip special - some of which I've tried myself. Don't believe every site that reveals "Disneyland Secrets!" - there is no such thing. If it were a secret, no one would know about it. There ARE, however hidden treasures, and tricks that only park-veterans know. I also plan to share some of the rich and interesting history of the parks.
Have Fun at Home
~Let's make something!~
While we're stuck at home, unable to enjoy the parks in person, I'll lead you through some fun and simple crafts and treats to keep us in that Happiest Place State of Mind.
And More
The main point of this blog is to inform those less experienced travelers. But every once in a while I'm going to want to have a little fun. I will be posting lists of my favorite things, reviews, and even contests! I would also love to do a Q&A at some point, so please be sending in your questions.
I hope this blog is helpful to you, but in order for me to meet your needs, I need your help and questions and opinions to help improve. I value your input!
